Spacious, economical and fully certified
The B23 is the base model of BRM Aero’s next-generation low-wing line — a complete redesign, built to satisfy both the European CS-23 and the U.S. FAR-23 certification bases. At 130 centimetres, its cabin is the widest of any two-seater on the market: comfortable on long European tours, and equally at home at a flight school thanks to low operating costs and Mogas compatibility.

BRS ballistic parachute — standard, not an option
Every B23 ships with a whole-aircraft ballistic recovery system. An expensive option on many competitors; baseline equipment here.

Engineering & design
- Lengthened fuselage and enlarged tail versus the older BRISTELL LSA airframes, with an aluminium rudder and enlarged flaps for better control authority.
- Composite main landing gear legs, redesigned to carry the B23’s higher 750 kg MTOW.
- Push-rod aileron and elevator controls — simpler maintenance than cable systems; twin trim tabs balance stick forces.
- Dual hydraulic Beringer brakes on the rudder pedals; steerable nosewheel.
- Certification basis: European CS-23 and U.S. FAR Part 23 — EASA type certificate A-642-830.
